Frederick "Freddy" Steimling joined the firm in 2026 as an associate attorney in the Louisville, Colorado office, where his practice focuses on litigation on behalf of the firm's Tribal clients.
Mr. Steimling is a civil litigator with particular experience in land disputes, fraud, and breaches of fiduciary duty. He has handled matters at every phase of litigation in Colorado state and federal courts, from pleadings and dispositive motion practice through discovery, depositions, evidentiary hearings, and trial.
Mr. Steimling earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where he served as Managing Editor of the Colorado Technology Law Journal and received the school's Public Service Award. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in Finance and Labor Studies & Employment Relations from Penn State University's Schreyer Honors College.
Mr. Steimling has long been interested in the history and cultures of Native Americans and is glad to have made their wellbeing the focus of his practice. He lives in Longmont, Colorado with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys reading John Grisham novels, fly fishing, and exploring Colorado with his family.
