Rosebud Sioux Tribe Closes $28.46 Million Bond Issuance

The Rosebud Sioux Tribe has successfully closed a $28,460,000 tax-exempt bond issuance to finance the construction of a new 40-bed nursing home in White River, South Dakota, with groundbreaking set to begin next week. The Rosebud Sioux Tribe is one of the largest tribes in South Dakota and has long been a leader in advancing healthcare, education, and economic opportunities for its citizens.

The transaction was led by Partner Seth Pearman, based in Peebles Bergin's Sioux Falls office. Seth is a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and previously served as Attorney General for the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe for more than 12 years, where he oversaw and advanced numerous businesses and projects vital to tribal economic sustainability.
