Congratulations to the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe! Partner Seth Pearman assisted the Tribe in closing a $101,790,000 Tax-Exempt Bond Issuance.
The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe has successfully closed a $101,790,000 tax-exempt bond issuance to finance the construction of a new 88,141-square-foot Tribal Administrative Services Building. Designed by DSGW Architects and to be constructed by Hausmann Construction and Clark Drew Construction, the facility will serve as a centralized hub for tribal government operations, programs, and services.
Features of the building include a state-of-the-art Tribal Historic Preservation Department with archival storage, a 3-D printing room and laboratory, a tribal museum and gift shop, a large conference space for tribal events, Executive Committee chambers designed to accommodate larger public meetings, a coffee shop, multiple conference rooms, dedicated call center space, and centralized offices and ancillary spaces for all tribal departments. The project also includes a separate building with a drive-through canopy to facilitate food and other community distributions.
Designed to bring all Tribal Services and Programs under one roof, the facility will improve coordination among departments, enhance accessibility, and support more efficient delivery of services to Tribal Members. The building reflects the Tribe's continued commitment to strengthening tribal governance, preserving cultural resources, and investing in infrastructure that will benefit future generations.
