Derik Goatson joined the firm in 2018.
Mr. Goatson joined the firm as an Associate. Mr. Goatson interned at the Federal Communications Commission, Office of General Counsel, where he drafted sections of an agency rule on tribal bidding credits for spectrum auctions. Mr. Goatson also interned at Comcast where he worked on telecommunications and antitrust policy related to rural broadband deployment and adoption.
Mr. Goatson is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law, where he concentrated in tribal economic development. During law school, Mr. Goatson was a student attorney in the American Indian Law Clinic and was an articles editor on the Colorado Technology Law Journal.
